Outside The Box is a friendly, not-for-profit board games café in Bramhall, Stockport, run by Rachel and Helen.

We have a huge and ever-growing library of board games, from quick and easy family favourites to big, crunchy strategy games – and we’re always happy to help you find something you’ll enjoy.

But we’re about much more than just playing games. We run a busy programme of events including beginner-friendly learn-to-play sessions, Dungeons & Dragons and other RPGs, Blood on the Clocktower, Mahjong, Scrabble, Chess, social gaming and our popular “We Read The Rules So You Don’t Have To” evenings.

We want Outside The Box to be somewhere people can come on their own, with friends or with family and feel completely at home. You don’t need to be an experienced gamer, you don’t need to know the rules, and you definitely don’t need to arrive with a group!
