What are the UK Games Expo Awards?
The UK Games Expo Judges and People's Choice Awards, recognise and celebrate quality and excellence in new games and products in the tabletop marketplace.
All submitted games are rated by a panel of expert judges chosen by UKGE. These judges produce a shortlist of the top games in each category, as determined by the judges' ratings.

Judges Choice Awards
The Judges Choice Awards are divided into 20 categories. A more detailed explanation can be found here.
The Judges Awards winners are announced in advance of UKGE in May.
The trophies are presented at 17.00 on the Thursday of the show in the Toute Suite at the NEC. This ceremony is open to exhibitors, press and media.
People's Choice Awards
The People's Choice Awards give you the visitor the chance to decide on this years best games. You will now vote in 4 categories which include all the winners of the 20 Judges Choice Awards.
Here are the categories for 2026:
- The UK Games Expo People's Choice Strategy Award: An award recognising the best in the field of Strategic games and related products.
- The UK Games Expo People's Choice Family Award: An award recognising the best in the field of Family games and related products.
- The UK Games Expo People's Choice Roleplaying Award: An award recognising the best in the field of Roleplaying games and related products.
- The UK Games Expo People's Choice General Award: An award recognising the best in the field of General games and related products.
Then over the weekend the public vote on the short listed games using the show app or else in the Awards area in Hall 1 (Block E)
Come to the main stage in Hall 1 at 3pm on the Sunday of the show to find out who are the winners.
Every person who votes will be entered into a draw to win some of the award winning games!
