Ares Games at UKGE 2025: new games and the 4th Battle of Birmingham

Ares Games will be at UK Games Expo 2025 presenting two new games – Quartermaster General: South Front, the second in the QMG "Front" series, bringing the Mediterranean theater of WW2 to life, and Perfect Mismatch, a creative and dynamic word-guessing game for 2–8 players, and a preview of Wunderwaffen, a strategy game portraying the last year of World War 2.

Other games released early this year will be at Ares’ stand, such as Altay – Dawn of Civilization, Builders of Sylvan Dale, Aeterna, and Balconia, and best-sellers like War of the Ring - The Card Game and Sword & Sorcery. The base sets of our miniature games are back after a long time sold out, with the reprints of the Sails of Glory Starter Set, the WW1 Duel Packs and the WW2 Battle of Britain Starter Set.

Ares will also host the traditional Battle of Birmingham, a large-scale participation event for the WW1 Wings of Glory, this year in its 4th edition. The event is open to new players - Ares’ demo crew will explain how to play in a few minutes and an airplane miniature provided.
