The hidden superpower of tabletop RPG's

Days
Sunday
Time
11:00 - 12:00 BST

Description

Join Omar Aazam (Coventry University) for an enlightening seminar that delves into the educational significance of Role-Playing Games (RPGs) once and for all ending the argument about whether ‘RPG's are good for us'.

Drawing from seven years of dedicated research at Coventry University, this session will showcase compelling findings from a study conducted with international students., as well as most recent research in the area of ludology and education. Through a dual perspective – that of both tutor and student – we will explore the diverse skills cultivated through engaging with RPGs. From critical thinking and problem-solving to collaboration and communication, RPGs offer a dynamic platform for holistic skill development.

Discover how these tabletop experiences not only enrich educational journeys but also foster key competencies essential for success in both professional endeavors and everyday life. Get the evidence you need to convince others to join your table for your next campaign!
