A Delve into the Smog

Your band of adventurers and problem-solvers has taken a commission to venture into the broken outskirts of London and recover a piece of experimental aetheric equipment from a downed airship. The tech’s owner – a highborn professor type – is much like the average gentleperson: far too scared of the skyrise canyons and smog-filled alleyways to take an airship down between the buildings. This however, is where you come in. The disgruntled and frustrated working class don’t frighten you – even if only because that’s who some of you are too – and neither do the desperate pirates; you’ve seen worse on many a night out. 

And of course that’s the problem: you’ve no money and no reputation – and no intention of taking a back-breaking job stoking the fires of the city’s industry. No, a better way to escape the drudgery and black lung is to take on the rich folks’ problems for a price. And if you can sway the locals to your side, and survive the dance of shot and blade with the pirates, you’ll be well on your way to earning a name that lets you drink where you like.
