The Veil of Vanity

A thick walled, banner-hung hall, famous for its amber ale but thronged with suspicious folk, sits upon an island off the coast.

Within it, a King, a giver of many rings, hard-band of huscarls close at hand, gifted with comeliness and red of hair, offers rich reward for those would come to his aid. He calls for those who will rid the land of a terrifying ogre whose fel minions plague the isle. 

These are wild lands, bleak and unforgiving, but a place where names can be made and there is glory to be made as well as treasure to be earned, even for those whose motivation is the pure and honest intent to be good neighbours and aid those in need. 

In the dim glow of flickering torches, whispers of monstrous deeds stir fear in the hearts of all folk at hand. The clangour of swords is expected but sharper ears detect the murmurs of intrigue.

A priest of Wochlen, Goddess of Storms, who loves to channel her powers of the storm and embrace her unbridled fury
