About
TTRPGs from SoulMuppet Publishing
SoulMuppet Publishing develops and publishes a range of roleplaying games by writers and artists from all around the world. We work hard to be a great publisher to work with and for, and we put out games that bring new ideas to the scene from places and voices you might not be familiar with.
Our three main gamelines are BEST LEFT BURIED, ORBITAL BLUES and INEVITABLE:
BEST LEFT BURIED is a rules-light, fantasy horror roleplaying game - where the monsters are scary and you are scared. Written by Zachary Cox & Nick Spence and illustrated by Ben Brown. Players are Cryptdiggers; professional dungeon-divers who venture into monster-infested Crypts seeking riches.
ORBITAL BLUES is a lo-fi space western roleplaying game. Written by Sam Sleney & Zachary Cox and illustrated by Joshua Clark. A roleplaying love-letter to off-beat sci-fi, vintage music, and cooperative old-school styled roleplay, Orbital Blues allows you to play out rules-light tabletop adventures in the style of space westerns.
INEVITABLE is a doomed Arthurian western roleplaying game. Written by Zachary Cox and illustrated by Klur Arts. It is a play-to-lose game of failing to stop the apocalypse, of doomed heroes of legend facing off against their foes in a dusty, dreary world.
Our third party works focus on queer creators and those with poor access to market, with a particular focus on writers from the Global South who may not have access to printing physical copies in Global North markets.
Via our online store we also strive to stock a range of RPG products that are otherwise hard to find, especially in the UK.

Mad as Hell
Mad as Hell is a new anti-capitalist demonhunting Table Top Roleplaying Game (TTRPG) by SoulMuppet Publishing, written by Evie Moriarty with illustrations by Per Janke, Scrap Princess and Alex Eckman-Lawn.
In Mad as Hell you'll play as Radicals, members of various Communities, banding together to fight the literal demons of capitalism.
The only way to kill demons is to understand what quiet violence created them in the first place, work out how to solve that problem, and turn it into a weapon. You might kill a demon of mouldy water with a purifier, a demon of poison-laced diet drugs with its own reflection, or a demon of bigotry with a pride flag.
Unless you address the root cause of the problem, the wound in the world will continue to fester, and the demon will be reborn, free to wreak havoc. To defeat the demon truly, you need to make meaningful social change in your communities and help those around you.
To keep your Communities safe in Mad as Hell, you have to learn the tools of direct action and how to apply them to the world.
